Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;  therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

We couldn’t love you any more! So thankful to celebrate with my girl today and that God gave her to our family. We know God has big plans for her

Ready to go?

This next weekend at the center we will be hosting a preparatory retreat for all the young people who will be traveling into NA this spring. Pray for the young people as they are getting ready for their first overseas experience, that God will call many of them to serve Him full time. And pray also for us as we lead the activities of the weekend.

We ask your fervant prayers for this weekend of preparation, but also for their time in NA. Please pray for protection, that they can bring hope and consolation to a nation who has no hope. There is so much instability in that part of the world and we want to trust Jesus not only to protect the team, but also to allow the team to encourage the hearts of those who are weary from living in these circumstances.

Only God can give true hope and peace!

Looking Forward

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? Isaiah 43:19

God has given the leadership team grace and wisdom over the last several months to prayerfully and humbly consider and begin an exciting transition in the church leadership. The Modugno church has been led by Pastor Giuseppe Ronchi for 40 years and he has done a beautiful job glorifying the Lord and ministering to His church over all these years. He humbly and wisely decided to pass the baton while the church is at its healthiest, growing and booming. So this Sunday the leadership team had the joy to present to the church the new pastor for the Modugno church- Pastor Mirko Ronchi!

We are certain that as God has done amazing things up until this point, that he has so much more in store! We are thankful for His faithfulness and look forward to what lies ahead.

Here I am, Send me

The candidate program continues and it our joy, privilege and humbling responsibility to see several young people ready to go. People who are willing to leave their nation and go out to “the end of the earth” to preach His word and share His love. They have read the Word and taken the words, “For the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few” to heart. They have chosen to be one of the few workers who go out into the harvest. Who choose to ignore the news and the fear of other people groups. They do not choose retribution, but forgiveness, love and hope.

Please pray for them as they get ready. Pray for the church to be ready. Pray for the church to be ready to give up some of their best in order to reach the lost. Pray for the church to be aware of the desperate need for those who go and to be ready to financially support their workers. Pray for the candidates. Pray for peace, courage, strength, timing, wisdom, direction, joy and open doors.

They have answered, “Here I am Lord. Send me!”

What will you answer?

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” Romans 10: 13-16

Psalm 2

Gianluca is continuing his sermon on the Psalms.

This Sunday it was Psalm 2. A beautiful and prophetic Psalm. Victory in Jesus who has already conquered the nations! Praise God for this promise!!! Especially when we watch and listen to the news these days it is such a joy and relief to know that he is in control! Nations may rise up against Him, but He has already won the victory.
