i6:8 Retreat 2013

Another great adventure this year as we prepared our brave young missionaries to go out onto the field this August for their short-term trips! Gianluca gets more creative every year, and this year was no exception! We are excited to see how God uses this time of preparation to ready the team members and take them to the next level!

We can’t wait to see what God will do in and through these young people on the upcoming trips!

(Our camera is officially dead! Tried to take a picture or two during the retreat and they came out as videos=P)

What a privilege to meet servant’s of the Lord

This month we also had the privilege of hosting Dr. Gregg Allison for a special teaching event for all local leaders and for a special teaching event for the church in the evening as well. It is amazing to see the hunger that the church has for deeper and more profound teaching of God’s Word, of church history and of theology! It is a beautiful thing! We are growing!!

We had the honor to have dinner with them (he and his wife) and with another friend and co-worker here in Italy, Jonathan Gilmore. They were truly humble and amazing people filled with knowledge of the Lord. What a blessing to meet others who dedicate their lives to serving and knowing the Lord!

July has begun and so have the meetings!

It is a buuuuuuuusy month!

I6:8 is going full speed with lots to do. Keep us in your prayers and all the people who are part of i6:8 and going out both short and long term.

It is wonderful to keep working on team building and working with our amazing team, but it is a lot work- pray for wisdom as we make important decisions and continue to bring i6:8 to the next level.

We are so blessed, and I realize that more every day, particularly with the work we do and where we go…

It is an amazing honor and blessing to live in a free nation. Let’s not take it for granted but use our freedom to honor the Lord.
